Toolroom Engineer / Tooling Engineer
We are currently looking to recruit a Toolroom Engineer / Tooling Engineer for a leading industrial manufacturer, that’s expanding their Engineering team. Main purpose of the role is to service, repair, maintain & improve Mould Tooling, supporting the planning, quality & production departments.
Duties & responsibilities as a Toolroom Engineer / Tooling Engineer:

Repair, maintain and modify of Injection Mould Tooling

Breakdowns, fixing Tools, returning back to production as quickly as possible, preventing production down time

Promote a clean, tidy and well organised workshop

Working both independently unsupervised & as part of a close knit team

Inhouse manufacture of machined parts for Mould Tooling, machine breakdowns & fabrication

Experience of project engineering

Support to Shift Leaders, Tool Setters & Maintenance Engineers as and when required

Knowledge of lean manufacturing & Continuous improvement (CI) techniques; 5S, TPM & Standard Work

Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation – IOSH
Experience / Qualifications required:

Engineering Qualification (C&G, NVQ, BTEC, ONC, HNC, HND or similar)

Apprentice trained or level 3 qualified
-
Mould Tool experience required
This position is easily commutable from Mansfield, Chesterfield, Ripley, Alfreton, Belper & Nottingham
