Purpose of role:
Due to continued increase in demand, a leading manufacturer in its field is looking to recruit an experienced Quality Engineer to join their team.
 
We are looking for an experienced Quality Engineer who is now looking for their step into a Quality Manager’s role and grow with the business
Reporting to the Managing Director, the purpose of the role will be to ensure products meet required customer specifications and relevant legal requirements.
You will review and implement processes and procedures as necessary to overcome and address manufacturing issues.
 
 
Responsibilities:
  • Manage and lead the plants quality activities on a day-to-day basis
  • Maintain ISO9001 certification.
  • Develop systems and processes to ensure products and services meet customer expectations.
  • Lead root cause analysis into product failures and customer complaints.
  • Maintain Product / Process NCR’s and customer complaints including corrective actions.
  • Lead quality inspection activities
  • Assist in the resolution of identified issues with to include non-routine testing & product inspection as required.
  • Carryout required product trials and document findings.
  • Supplier and customer management
  • Manage the non-conformance process
 
 
Experience/Skills required:
  • Be an experienced Quality Engineer who is now looking for their next career step into a Quality Management role
  • Have supervisory / management experience in a Quality function within a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of ISO9001:2015
  • Working knowledge of quality tools - 8D, Root Cause Analysis, SPC, Control Plans, Ishikawa
  • Corrective Actions
  • Quality policy and procedure implementation
  • Knowledge of testing procedures / techniques and control systems
  • Seeking a long-term career move to grow and progress with the business
