Electrically biased Maintenance Engineer

  • 12-hour days 4 on 4 off (with potential to go to nights in the future)
  • Salary up to £38,000 
 
We are currently looking to recruit an Electrical Biased Maintenance Engineer for a manufacturer based near Chester. The ideal candidate must be experienced with electrical maintenance, fault finding and repair.
 
 
Duties and responsibilities as a Maintenance Engineer:
  • Planned, reactive & preventative maintenance (PPM)
  • Electrical testing, wiring inspection, fault finding, installation & modification
  • Machine fitting, installation, rebuild, calibrate, refurbish, commission, service & breakdowns
  • Pneumatic maintenance and repair
  • PLC experience is essential
  • Reading / following engineering drawings
  • Project Work including;
    • Machine upgrades modification Efficiency Improvements
 
 
Experience/Qualifications required:
  • Engineering Qualification (C&G, NVQ, BTEC, ONC, HNC, Degree or similar)
  • Electrical qualifications
  • Apprentice trained or level 3 qualified
