Electrical Maintenance Engineer
A leading and rapidly growing manufacturer is looking to recruit an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to minimise downtime of all production machinery and associated equipment.
Purpose of role:
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the purpose of the role is to maximise machine productivity and minimise machine downtime & servicing all production equipment and ancillaries.
Use PLC’s and root cause analysis to fault find / diagnose problems in a timely manner
Carry out routine maintenance work and respond to equipment faults
Order replacement parts as required with approved suppliers
Provide support to other areas of maintenance as necessary
Undertake machinery & equipment upgrades and installation of new equipment as necessary
Be on call out on a rota system to respond to breakdowns and emergencies
Approximately 1 in 6 weeks call out £6,000 premium attached to call outs
Experience / Qualifications required:
Experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer within a busy manufacturing environment
Able to use PLCs for fault finding / diagnostics
Must be able to read complex electrical drawings (schematics)
Prepared to be on call on a rota system
